Hey guys! My profile page only gives me 1200 characters to explain myself, so I decided to write a more detailed explanation of who I am here. I know that when I read a blog, I always want to know where the information is coming from and I figured that maybe you guys would too!

My name is Catherine. I'm 20 years old and i'm from Southern New Jersey! I've been into makeup for as long as I can remember. One of my most vivid memories is when my mom let me put on her eyeliner for the first time in the car. Since that very moment, I was completely obsessed! I always thought that makeup would just be a hobby for me and for years I was stressed out about what my career was going to be because I couldn't imagine loving anything enough to want to do it for my entire life.... until I discovered that I could do makeup for a living!

I took a makeup class with Alexa Prisco in January 2012, and that was the deciding factor - makeup was my calling & I never wanted to do anything else! So, I signed up for Alexa's Glam Academy and it was the best experience of my entire 20 years of existence. I learned so much in that course and I am so happy that I was able to take it. Alexa inspired me beyond belief and she will be my hero forever. Glam Academy actually changed the way I live my life and made me so much more confident. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about what an amazing opportunity it was. This course definitely jump started my makeup career and I am hoping to share my journey with you guys in this blog, so I can maybe inspire other aspiring makeup artist or just beauty lovers in general.

When i'm not doing makeup, blogging, or watching YouTube tutorials... I work at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia with my best friend and my mom! I'm the ultimate girly girl and I love all things pink and glittery. I have four furry children (2 dogs & 2cats), and i'm a huge Kat Von D fan. My goal in life is to inspire people and make them feel good about themselves. My passion for makeup exceeds my passion for almost everything else and i'm hoping that it will inspire all of you lovely readers out there! Being a makeup artist is my dream, and I will do whatever I can so that I can be a makeup artist full time for the rest of my life. If you have a dream, follow it! Don't worry about what other people will think of you, life is too short to waste time doing anything that doesn't make you happy!
